![]() ![]() The planet Mimban was a backwater Expansion Region that was home to several species including the Mimbanese. Overall, they're a useful unit, although the TIE Maulers should probably be bought first, due to their incredible effectiveness against infantry." It's their planet we're the hostiles." ―Han Solo, to Lieutenant Bolandin ![]() ![]() These tanks have the Power to Weapons special ability: when activated, it will nearly double the damage from main cannons while preventing shield regeneration and slowing the tanks to a crawl for about 5-7 seconds. This ability is useful against Rebel Soldiers, light vehicles like Pod Walkers and structures, but shouldn't be used against superior enemies. They will also lose against the T4-B Heavy Tanks, Anti-Vehicle Turrets and Canderous Assault Tanks in the Forces of Corruption. They're far less effective against infantry, though while they will eventually defeat the Rebel Soldier squads, they should never enter combat with Plex Missile Soldiers and Rebel Infiltrators: the former's missiles will go straight through shielding and quickly destroy the hull, while the Infiltrators can throw Thermal Detonators that will destroy the target tank after about five seconds. They can easily defeat Rebel T2-B Repulsor Tanks, Pod Walkers and Pirate Skiffs, as well as Anti-Infantry Turrets. Unlike TIE Maulers and Missile Attack Launchers, they lack tracks and thus cannot run infantry over. These tanks have high armour and shielding and powerful anti-vehicle cannons, but average speed. ![]() They appear in the Star Wars: Empire at War and its add-on Forces of Corruption, where a group of 4 can be built at the Empire Heavy Factory at Tier credits. 2-M Repulsor Tanks are Imperial repulsorlift tanks used during the Galactic Civil War. ![]()
